Perth Main Sewer Section 5 and 6 Upgrades

A new pipeline was designed and constructed adjacent to the existing sewer with minimal amount of separation to minimise potential damage to the adjacent sewer and buildings. Included in the work was also a siginficant number of gravity and collection sewers to be constructed that connected the adjacent businesses to the system.

Caisson shafts were utilised to minimise potential environmental and dewatering issues. The caisson shaft methodology produces a shaft which is completely sealed with a water tight plug at the base.
