Toowoomba Pipeline

The key purpose of this project is to design and deliver a pumped raw water pipeline from Lake Wivenhoe to Lake Cressbrook. The pipeline will run approximately 38km through rural properties and State forest within the Somerset Regional Council boundaries. From there it will be reticulated by the Toowoomba Regional Council according to its needs and using its own existing infrastructure. The pipeline will be designed to pump in only one direction, east to west.

Community relations is a key priority on this project and the community will be kept informed regularly through fact sheets, newsletters and a 'Community Information Day' initiative.
